  • Acetal GP Natural POM-C Plate & Rectangular Bar

    Acetal polymers, referred to chemically as POM PolyOxyMethylene, are semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastics made by the polymerization of formaldehyde. They have physical properties that are not available with metals or most other plastics; high mechanical strength and rigidity, low coefficients of friction, low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, fatigue endurance, and resistance to abrasion and creep. These materials are also resistant to a wide range of solvents and have good electrical properties.

    Overview:
    PTFE-filled Acetal (also known as PTFE-enhanced POM or PTFE-blended acetal) is a high-performance engineering plastic designed for applications requiring low friction, enhanced wear resistance, and excellent dimensional stability. By incorporating polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) into the acetal matrix, this material combines the strength and machinability of acetal with the superior lubricity of PTFE.

  • Anti-static Acetal Shapes (1.0E+9 to 1.0E+11 ohms)

    Anti-static Acetal shapes contain an anti-static additive. This modified Acetal produces a defined degree of conductivity in the anti-static range with a surface resistivity 109-1011 Ohm/square. However, the addition of the anti-static agent can compromise the strength and hardness of the material depending on the application. Anti-static Acetal shapes offer good wear resistance, high chemical resistance, and has high toughness and strength.
