• Trizod OP11

Trizod™ OP is an Optically Clear Polished, ultraviolet-stabilized polycarbonate sheet specially engineered for superior optical performance. It also offers improved flammability performance over General Purpose PC. Its UL94 flammabaility rating is V2 at a thickness of 1.5 mm (0.059") and 3.0 mm (0.118") and V0 at a thickness of 6.0 mm (0.236"). Trizod™ OP can be used in applications requiring excellent impact strength, outstanding clarity, and UV resistance.

Trizod™ OP-ESD Polycarbonate sheet is designed to control static electricity for a wide range of end uses. It is a premium Optical Grade polycarbonate sheet which has been surfaced with a proprietary, clear, C-300™ static dissipative surfacing. This unique technology prevents charge generation on the sheet surfaces, thereby controlling particulate attraction and preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. This performance is permanent and totally independent of humidity. It also exhibits superior impact resistance and flame spread properties, plus excellent clarity, chemical resistance, and mar resistance.Trizod™ OP-ESD has an optically clear press polish finish protected by a heavy-duty adhesive paper masking. The base substrate used to make Trizod™ OP-ESD is UV-stabilized and meets the requirements of ASTM D3935 PC0136. Trizod™ OP is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories under UL94 V0 for flammability in thicknesses above .236". Trizod™ is a registered trademark of Trident Plastics Inc. Trizod™ OP-ESD is made in the USA.

  • TrizodMG11

Trizod™ MG is an un-polished, ultraviolet-stabilized polycarbonate with excellent dimensional stability and good strength and stiffness over a wide range of temperatures. Trizod™ MG offers very high impact strength, high modulus of elasticity and a 270ºF (132ºC) heat deflection temperature at 264 psi. It also offers improved flammability performance over General Purpose PC. Its UL94 flammability rating is V2 at a thickness of 1.5 mm (0.059") and 3.0 mm (0.118") and V0 at a thickness of 6.0 mm (0.236"). Trizod™ MG can be used in applications requiring excellent impact strength, outstanding clarity, and uv-resistance.

Machine Grade Polycarbonate is a transparent amorphous thermoplastic which offers very high impact strength and high modulus of elasticity. The material has a 290°F (145°C) heat deflection temperature at 264 psi, absorbs very little moisture and resists acidic solutions. These properties, in addition to good electrical characteristics, make Machine Grade Polycarbonate shapes an excellent choice for electrical/electronic applications. Its strength, impact resistance and transparency also make it an ideal material for certain transparent structural applications such as sight glasses and windows.
