ESD Acetal Shapes (1.0E+8 to 1.0E+10 ohms)
ESD Acetal shapes are characterized by their excellent wear resistance, thermal performance, and ability to quickly dissipate static charges. This modified Acetal produces a defined degree of conductivity in the static-dissipative range with a surface resistivity 108-1010 ohm/square. Due to these properties, this grade is ideal for several applications throughout the semiconductor and electronics industry, such as hard disk drive fixtures, high speed electronic printing components, jigs and fixtures for static control, and wafer processing components.

Anti-static Acetal Shapes (1.0E+10 to 1.0E+12 ohms)
Anti-static Acetal shapes contain an anti-static additive. This modified Acetal produces a defined degree of conductivity in the anti-static range with a surface resistivity 1010-1012 Ohm/square. However, the addition of the anti-static agent can compromise the strength and hardness of the material depending on the application. Anti-static Acetal shapes offer good wear resistance, high chemical resistance, and has high toughness and strength.
